At The Cravery Cakes, we’re committed to delivering your cakes with care, precision, and professionalism. Please read the following terms carefully to understand how our cake delivery Birmingham service works:
1. Delivery Coverage
We deliver to virtually all B1 to B99 postcodes across the West Midlands, including Alcester, Tamworth, Halesowen, and Solihull. We also deliver to residential addresses, businesses, and event venues—provided someone is available to receive the cake during the delivery window.
2. Delivery Timings
Deliveries are made between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, seven days a week. You will receive a one-hour delivery window via email approximately 12 hours before your scheduled delivery.
Please note: While we aim to deliver within the provided time window, it is not guaranteed. We do not offer compensation for missed delivery slots. Factors such as weather, road traffic, accidents, public events, and road closures can cause delays that are beyond our control.
3. Same-Day & Next-Day Orders
-
Same-day delivery is available via Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat only.
-
Same-day collection is available for website orders placed before 11:00 am, with collection between 2:00–2:30 pm.
-
Next-day delivery is available for orders placed before 11:00 am and will be delivered between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm the following day.
Orders placed after 11:00 am will be processed the next working day and scheduled for delivery or collection the day after.
4. Named Day Delivery
You may select a named delivery date for £4.99. While we aim to deliver on your chosen day with a one-hour time window, we encourage customers to select delivery one day before their event and store the cake in the fridge to avoid any disruptions.
5. Missed Deliveries
If no one is present at the address provided at checkout, we’ll follow one of the two approaches based on the type of product:
-
For products that do not require immediate refrigeration (such as cupcakes, pizza cakes, cakesicles, etc.):
We may attempt to deliver your order to a neighbouring address if someone nearby is available and willing to accept it. A notification will be sent to the contact details provided.
-
For cakes that require refrigeration (e.g. layered cakes with buttercream):
If your cake delivery Birmingham cannot be completed due to no one being available at the delivery address, you’ll receive an email notification and the cake will be returned to our factory. We’re unable to redeliver on the same day, but you’ll have two options:
– Arrange redelivery for the following day (a redelivery charge will apply)
– Collect your cake the next morning between 9:00 and 9:30 am from our Birmingham factory location.
We understand that life happens, and we’ll always do our best to ensure your cake reaches you fresh and on time.
6. Changes to Delivery
-
You cannot change the one-hour delivery window once it has been assigned.
-
You may request a change of delivery address before 8:00 am on the delivery day—only if the new address is within half a mile of the original.
-
Changes outside of this range are not permitted due to route optimisation constraints.
7. Venue Deliveries
We do not deliver to venues that open after 12:00 pm or operate only in the evening by appointment. If your venue cannot accept morning deliveries or refuses to store your cake in a fridge, please opt for collection instead.
8. Surprise Deliveries
We’re happy to deliver cakes as a surprise. Simply provide the recipient’s name, full address, and contact number at checkout, and mention it’s a surprise in the order notes. Please ensure someone is available at the location to accept the delivery.
